"Quilts for Guys Project" -Just in Time for Christmas
I am starting a series of quilt patterns, "just for guys." These quilts will be made from simple, graphic patterns that can be made in a few colors...or those of his favorite sports team. My goal is to post a new one each week.
Just For Guys: Shetland Tweed Quilt
This 54" x 72" Lap quilt is a perfect, quick quilt for the guy in your life. These 18" blocks are a snap to put together. The whole design is made from squares and half square triangles...no crazy, challenging pieces to include. This pattern would also look great done in bright primary colors for a grandson, son or nephew. Check out the "Purchase Pattern" page for options and prices
Classroom Instruction for Your Group or Guild
Check out the "Classroom Instruction" page above for a listing of classes available. I am available to teach weeknights or weekends. Classes range from basic paper piecing, advanced paper piecing, quilting 101 sampler, hand and machine quilting, choosing your quilting designs, fabric gifts for Christmas and fabric dyeing.
Lectures are also available as a Quilt Guild weeknight presentation that lasts 1 hr in length. Travel in the metro MIlwaukee, WI area only.
